The hamster free-range enclosure from swisspet offers particularly variable construction options with 8 interconnected elements and can be extended with further free-range enclosures. The run is made of metal coated with black plastic. Please never put several hamsters in the run at the same time (with very few exceptions, hamsters are strictly solitary animals!) Do not leave your hamster unattended in the run, some hamsters develop into real escape artists! The hamster's natural activity times should be respected and the hamster should not be woken up to put it in the run. If the hamster appears very stressed or anxious in the run, it should be put back in its enclosure.

Note: Please note that not all hamsters like to run outside the enclosure, as they are very territorial and often shy animals. Never wake your hamster to put it in the run, but adjust the interaction phases to its natural waking times (crepuscular and nocturnal animals!). If your hamster shows symptoms of stress in the run, put him back and try again another time. If the hamster shows signs of stress every time, you should stop letting it out altogether. Regular free running is no substitute for a species-appropriate and sufficiently large enclosure.
