The swisspet rabbit corner house is a cute wooden house that offers your guinea pigs and/or dwarf rabbits a place to retreat to in their enclosure. Wood is a natural and breathable material and therefore very suitable for rodent furniture. The house is made of plywood and can be placed in a corner of the enclosure to save space. The flat roof can be used as a viewing platform. As the house is nailed, you should regularly check that it is not gnawed on too much to prevent injuries. If it is to be used long-term in an outdoor enclosure, we recommend coating it with an animal-friendly weatherproof varnish.

Note: As guinea pigs and rabbits are social animals, they should be kept in a group of at least two animals for species-appropriate husbandry. Please also note that the animals should have several places to retreat to, preferably all together. There should also be several opportunities for the animals to keep themselves occupied.

The legally prescribed minimum dimensions are not the same as keeping the animals in the best possible conditions. Basically, the bigger the better. For a truly happy animal life, we therefore recommend that you choose the largest possible shelter and, in the case of rabbits and guinea pigs, provide a permanent run of several square meters.
