The swisspet Roberto 120 rodent hutch is a two-storey cage for guinea pigs and dwarf rabbits. The two-storey rodent house consists of two plastic trays with a lattice structure and a wooden connecting bar between the two floors.

Wooden products should not be exposed to the elements without protection. Constant Moisture or standing directly in the snow leads to rapid wood ageing/wood decomposition. We recommend regular protective varnishing of the exterior wooden surfaces with animal-friendly varnish. Installation under a protective canopy is recommended. You can also protect the animals from draughts and cold with the thermal windbreak.

Note: As guinea pigs and rabbits are social animals, they should be kept in a group of at least two animals for species-appropriate housing. Please also note that the animals should have several places to retreat to, preferably all together. There should also be several opportunities for the animals to keep themselves occupied.

The legally prescribed minimum dimensions are not the same as keeping the animals in the best possible conditions. Basically, the bigger the better. For a truly happy animal life, we therefore recommend choosing the largest possible shelter and, in the case of rabbits and guinea pigs, providing a permanent run over several square meters.
