Topmast whelping box

The Topmast whelping box was developed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for bitches during the birth of puppies. The whelping box offers the puppies a safe place where they are well protected from external influences and other animals.

The whelping box is very easy to set up and can be individually extended with an additional whelping box or run. The size should be chosen so that the bitch can lie comfortably in it and look after her puppies. The safety tubes, which are fitted around the side of the crate, help to prevent a puppy from accidentally lying between the mother and the wall and being crushed. The height of these safety tubes can be adjusted so that the puppies have adequate space underneath. The cross wrench required to secure the tube is supplied. No tools are required to assemble the rest of the whelping box.

The edges of the whelping box consist of 3 boards of approx. 15.3 cm each, which are placed on top of each other. An entrance for the bitch can be added on one side by inserting only 1 or 2 boards in one half. The whelping box has no floor.

Place the whelping box in a quiet place so that the bitch feels comfortable and safe and cannot be disturbed. Especially during the birth and the first few weeks after the birth, it is important that she has plenty of peace and quiet and can concentrate on raising the puppies.

Made of PVC, the whelping box and run are easy to set up and clean.
