This attractive bird feeder is treated with a non-toxic glaze and is therefore optimally protected against weathering. To maintain this protection, we recommend painting the wood every 1-3 years with a non-toxic wood stain or paint (water-based, suitable for outdoor use).

The house has a generous roof overhang, which is suitable as a practical and non-slip landing surface. There are 4 perches attached, which can also be used as a holder for fat balls.
