Zarasyl contains a proprietary amorphous silicon dioxide. Silicon dioxide (SiO2), also known as silicic acid, is the oxide of silicon, the most abundant essential trace element in animals after iron and zinc. It occurs in crystalline form as quartz, in amorphous form in bottle glass and as silicic acid in plants. Amorphous silica is non-toxic by oral, dermal and ocular routes of exposure. It dissolves in water to form orthosilicic acid (Si (OH) 4). The oil-free base provides a moist, semi-occlusive environment.

For the treatment of:

• Mauke / eczema
• Scratches / scrapes
• Game / overgrowth of granulation tissue
• Tissue control / alleviation of tissue inflammation
• Summer eczema / insect hypersensitivity
• non-healing summer wounds in the eye and lip area / caused by larvae of Habronema (stomach parasite)

Application:
Clean and dry the affected area before use. Apply the cream generously once or twice a day.

Instructions:
For external use only. For use with companion animals only. Store in a cool, dry place. Keep out of the reach of children. Not for use on animals intended for food. Do not use on deep or puncture wounds. Discontinue use and consult your veterinarian if swelling, redness, irritation or excessive drainage develops at the application site or if healing is delayed.
