In cases of renal insufficiency, nutrition plays a central role alongside standard veterinary treatments. This supplement offers valuable, complementary support to relieve metabolic stress and sustainably improve your pet’s quality of life.
The carefully designed formulation features a unique combination of chitosan and selected plant-based ingredients. Chitosan acts effectively as a phosphate binder and helps capture uremic toxins directly in the intestine. The complex is supplemented with potassium citrate, which alkalizes the urine and can help prevent hypokalemia (potassium deficiency).
In addition, your pet benefits from the power of natural extracts: Cranberry protects the mucous membranes of the urinary tract and can reduce uric acid levels. Extracts from green tea (Thea sinensis) and turmeric provide valuable, potent antioxidant properties. Astragalus membranaceus, a plant known from traditional Chinese medicine, helps maintain normal kidney structure, while Lespedeza capitata (bush clover) has mild diuretic properties. The formula is rounded out by Yucca schidigera to support protein digestion in the intestines and nutrients from the green algae Chlorella.
The product can be administered for a period of at least one month or, if necessary, on a long-term basis. Please ensure that your pet always has access to plenty of fresh water.
