Virbac Caniprevent - Preputial Wash for Dogs
Preputial catarrh is a common disorder affecting the preputial area. The yellowish-white discharge is often a hygiene issue, as the sticky secretion gets spread throughout the home.
Caniprevent Preputial Wash, designed to clean the prepuce, contains ingredients that loosen and remove shed cells, mucous secretions, urine residues, and dirt:
- Regular treatment of the prepuce to prevent inflammation accompanied by heavy discharge
- Prevention of secondary infections.
Directions:
Clean the opening of the prepuce with cotton or gauze soaked in Caniprevent. Then draw up 10 ml of Caniprevent using the included syringe and attach the plastic cannula. Hold the foreskin firmly with one hand, and with the other hand, insert the plastic cannula between the foreskin and the penis. Squeeze the contents of the syringe into the foreskin fold while simultaneously closing the foreskin opening with your fingers; then use your other hand to distribute the solution throughout the foreskin fold. Allow the liquid to drain out. This procedure should be repeated on three consecutive days.
Composition: Distilled water 69.9%, isopropyl alcohol 20.0%, glycerol 10.0%, chlorothymol 0.1%
