Very low phosphorus content
The low phosphorus content in the formulation of this feed helps to slow down the progression of kidney disease and minimizes the risk of further complications.
Low protein content
The reduced protein content and the high quality of the proteins support the reduction of the formation of toxins in the urine and help to maintain muscle mass.
Phosphorus binding
The addition of phosphorus binders (chitosan and calcium carbonate) also helps to reduce the bioavailability of phosphorus.
High energy content
The high energy density enables the administration of small and concentrated daily rations, while the high level of acceptability supports the maintenance of a sufficiently high daily food intake to prevent malnutrition.
High omega-3 and EPA content
The high content of omega-3 fatty acids, especially EPA, helps to regulate inflammatory processes in the kidneys and limits inflammation and painful processes in the joints.

Chondroitin sulphate, chitosan and eggshell membrane support and maintain the integrity of joint cartilage.
