This food takes into account the changed nutritional requirements of neutered older dogs. The recipe supports the maintenance of ideal body weight and healthy kidney function through a low energy content, an increased fiber content, a high protein content and a low phosphorus content.

The reduced energy content of the food and adapted daily rations limit calorie intake. The high protein and fiber content ensures rapid satiety. The addition of L-carnitine promotes fat metabolism and limits the formation of fatty tissue.
