Wolfsblut Game Duck Small Breed is a species-appropriate dry dog food from Wolfsblut for a healthy, grain-free diet for small dog breeds.
All the ingredients in this unique combination help to maintain the health of your pet. The main source of nutrition for primitive dogs was of course meat and fish.
However, they also consumed fruit, herbs and vegetables via the stomachs of their prey or searched for and ate them specifically.
This gave them the vitamins, minerals, vital substances, trace elements, enzymes and secondary plant substances they needed.
The composition of Wolfsblut Game Duck Small Breed is mainly based on the diet of prehistoric dogs and therefore contains a high proportion of duck meat as well as potatoes, blueberries, aniseed, fenugreek and dandelion.
Today, science assumes that small dog breeds are descended from wolves from the Middle East. It is typical of small dogs that they grow up faster than their larger relatives. They also grow old later and have a longer life expectancy. They are also generally more agile and harder to tire. For these reasons, small dogs need food that is specially tailored to their physical needs.
