Audevard Bonutron Yearling 6-36m
Audevard Bonutron Yearling 6-36m is a supplementary feed for weanlings, yearlings and young horses to support balanced development. Bonutron Yearling 6-36m is particularly enriched with calcium and vitamin D to ensure balanced growth.
Most weanlings have access to large amounts of roughage (hay and pasture), but the concentrates they receive can vary greatly in quality and quantity from farm to farm. As the goals set by the breeder in terms of precocity are the most important criterion for feed choice, there can be large differences in sport horse breeds, although they are less pronounced in racehorses (gallop and trot).
While the need for cobalt, iron and manganese is well covered by the various rations , the amount of other micronutrients supplied varies depending on the situation. Some sport horse breeders rely primarily on roughage (meadow) and feed virtually no concentrates. As a result, the supply of trace elements and vitamins D and E is rarely sufficient to cover requirements. In feeding regimes that are often used for yearlings in training, the supply of micronutrients is often higher, but is still not sufficient to cover the entire requirement.
