Biotin has been used in hoof care for a long time. However, this name actually stands for several different forms of this molecule. Of these, only the so-called "D-biotin" is responsible for horn and coat formation. Hoof Biotine provides a daily supply of 20 mg D-biotin. The comprehensive formula contains 14 micronutrients that are important for keratogenesis, including amino acids, vitamins and sulphur-containing ingredients. Four additional, carefully selected plants, including chrysantellum and gingko biloba, are also used to promote blood circulation in the hoof.
For severely damaged hooves, it is advisable to give Hoof Biotine continuously for several months until the horn capsule has completely renewed itself.
