Biotin 2000 plus - The supplementary feed from ufamed with a high content of biotin and organic zinc. When administered regularly, it promotes keratin formation in the skin, hair and horn.

Horses are flight animals and movement is vital for them. The hooves are the foundation of every horse and are therefore of central importance for their well-being.

If the hooves do not grow properly or remain cracked and crumbly despite good care and species-appropriate husbandry of the horse, a deficiency of vitamins and minerals may be the cause.

Biotin and zinc have long been considered important for hooves. They develop their effect at the site of horn formation, i.e. in the coronet band area. This is why the effect is only clearly visible when the hoof horn has grown downwards. This takes several months. Supplementing biotin and zinc can therefore only be successful in the long term. In addition to the hooves, biotin and zinc also support the skin metabolism.
