Bellfor is a family business with around 25 years of experience in the production of pet food. We are convinced that every animal deserves to be fed high-quality, natural and species-appropriate food. Man's best friend should not just be full, but healthy, vital and above all happy. That's why we focus on healthy food - like home-made.
For us, this means using only natural ingredients - as far as possible from our region - a correspondingly high meat content and avoiding grains and unnecessary - sometimes even harmful - additives. Our Premium food is produced with particular care to preserve as many vitamins and minerals as possible. The result is an extremely digestible dog food that is perfect for real nature lovers as well as nutritionally sensitive dogs.

Die Antwort des Herstellers lautet:

Das tierische Futter im Bellfor Trockenfutter ist bei den „normalen“ Sorten Hühnerfett. Bei den Sorten mit Insektenprotein handelt es sich um einen Fettmix aus Insekten- und Hühnerfett im Verhältnis 3:1 – dies wurde aufgrund der Akzeptanz und auch der Produktion so gewählt, da eine reine Produktion mit Insektenfett nicht optimal verarbeitet werden konnte und die Hunde es auch nicht optimal vertragen haben.
