Optima BCAA is a unique combination of the branched-chain amino acids L-valine, L-leucine and L-isoleucine and the conditionally essential amino acid L-glutamine. Branched-chain amino acids make up around a third of a horse's muscle mass. They are essential for maintaining the muscles during intensive training and competition phases.

Supplementation with Optima BCAA can help to reduce the incidence of exercise-induced muscle damage.
