Sand Shifter contains pysllium husk powder, a revolutionary natural fiber derived from pysllium seeds.
In the horse's digestive tract, pysllium forms a fibrous gel that adheres to the sand particles, preventing them from remaining in the gut and causing potential blockages. Its ability to form bulk promotes movement through peristalsis, preventing blockages in the horse's digestive tract.
To increase palatability, aniseed flavor has been added, which is normally irresistible to horses.

Feed a 500 kg horse 150 g of the powder for 4-5 days. After the sand particles have passed through the gut, the horse may need to be fed Sand Shifter for a further 2-3 weeks to clear the large intestine of sand.
For horses grazing on sandy loam or short cut grass, up to 50g twice daily for seven consecutive days, once every 3-4 weeks or as directed by your veterinarian.
