The added calcium sulphate in Farmina Vet Life Struvite creates and maintains an acidic urine pH value, which can lead to the dissolution of struvite urinary stones and prevent the formation of new crystals. It also creates an unfavorable environment for bacteria to multiply. The low concentration of proteins, calcium, phosphorus and magnesium in Farmina Vet Life Struvite counteracts the formation of struvite crystals.

Wir kaufen seit mehreren Jahren dieses Produkt für unseren Zwergschnauzer (er erhält auch noch Nassfutter). Es wird angenommen und scheint bisher geholfen zu haben.

Das Hundefutter ist auch für kleinere Hunde geeignet, da die Brocken nicht allzu gross sind.

Keine klare Deklaration
Mein Hund hatte nur noch Durchfall und war immer hungrig
Was mich auch sehr stört das die Zusätze nicht in Prozent deklariert sind als erstes steht Reis, da nehm ich an das der grösste Teil im Futter einfach nur Reis ist.
Auch nicht wieviel Prozent wirklich Fleisch sind, so wie es deklariert ist kann es auch Schlachtabfälle drin haben was ich nie verfüttern würde und mein Hund auch nicht verträgt. Werde es nicht mehr bestellen.

Sehr gutes Futter
Unser Pointer Rüde hatte immer wieder Probleme mit dem Urin lassen, bis man feststellte, dass er Harnsteine hatte. Aufgrund dessen haben wir auf dieses Futter gewechselt. Er verträgt es sehr gut, hat ein tolles Fell - einzig, der Stuhlgang ist nicht immer 100% (teilweise etwas weicher). Zwischenzeitlich haben wir auf das Struvite Management, was sich ja nur in einem kleinem Bereich von dem Struvite unterscheidet, gewechselt. Da hat er aber Durchfall von bekommen, warum auch immer. Jetzt sind wir wieder auf dem Struvite und alles ist i.O.
