Feline Vet Cystofer®
Complementary feed for cats to support the physiological function of the urinary tract.
The special nutritional purpose of Cystofer® is to support the dissolution of struvite stones in cases of lower urinary tract disease. Cystofer® works through the special combination of plant extracts by promoting diuresis and the removal of bacteria. The essential sulphur-containing amino acid methionine and ammonium chloride have a uric acidifying effect.
The uric acidifying effect of Feline Vet Cystofer® for cats is intended to reduce the adhesion of pathogenic germs to the urothelial cells, have a bacteriostatic effect, improve stone solubility in phosphate stones, organic and inorganic diatomaceous earth components (SiO2) serve as toxin scavengers, green-lipped mussel is intended to protect the protective GAG layer on the urothelium.
Methionine
The essential sulphur-containing amino acid methionine and ammonium chloride are uric acidifying and can therefore help to dissolve struvite stones in the urinary bladder.

Green-lipped mussel extract to protect the protective GAG layer on the urothelium.
Equisetum and solidaginis
Equisetum (horsetail) and solidaginis (goldenrod) to promote diuresis and thus the removal of bacteria in the bladder.
Echinacea
Echinacea (coneflower) to stimulate the immune system.
Initial dose:
For the first 28 days: 2 chewable tablets per 5 kg body weight (bw) in the morning and evening.
Maintenance dose:
1 chewable tablet per 5 kg body weight (bw) in the morning and evening.
Administer the chewable tablets directly into the mouth or together with the feed. It is recommended to seek the advice of a veterinarian before use or before extending the feeding period. Offer water for free intake.
