Feline Vet Immufer® Plus
Feline Vet Immufer® Plus is a supplement for cats in convalescence.
Specially developed for cats in convalescence, as an adjuvant (vaccination booster) for vaccinations in cats, for inflammation of the oral mucosa and throat, for relapses after antibiotic treatment, chronic infections, for accompanying therapy and follow-up treatment of fungal infections, for dermatoses and dermatitis, weaning puppies from their mothers, before and after surgical procedures. After an accident or illness, Feline Vet Immufer® Plus helps to restore health and strengthen the immune system.
Echinacea
Echinacea to support the immune system.
Prebiotics
Prebiotics (inulin) and probiotics (yeasts and Enterococcus faecium) to support the intestinal flora.
Taurine
Taurine is important for various metabolic processes (antioxidant, neurotransmitter, stabilization of membrane potential, etc ) and is insufficiently synthesized by the cat.
Carnitine
Carnitine to support the breakdown of free fatty acids.
Colostrum powder
Colostrum powder as an immunostimulant.
Vitamins
With important vitamins and trace elements.
For the first 5 - 7 days:
Morning, noon and evening 2 chewable tablets per 5 kg body weight (bw).
Then reduce to the maintenance dose:
1 chewable tablet per 5 kg body weight (bw) in the morning, at midday and in the evening.
Administer the chewable tablets directly into the mouth or together with the feed.
Feeding duration: at least 6 weeks. It is recommended to seek the advice of a veterinarian before use or before extending the feeding period. Offer water for free intake.

Darf Immufer auch bei Diabetes einer Katze gegeben werden? Wenn ja wieviel.
Your iPet team Guten Tag, ja, Immufer kann einer diabetischen Katze verabreicht werden. Die verabreichten Mengen sind sehr gering, sodass die Wirkung auf den Blutzuckerspiegel begrenzt ist. Dennoch ist es immer ratsam, mit Ihrem Tierarzt zu klären, ob der Blutzuckerspiegel kontrolliert werden sollte, wenn Ihre Katze mit der Behandlung mit Immufer beginnt.
Was die Mengen angeht, können Sie sich an die Empfehlungen des Herstellers halten:
Für die ersten 5 – 7 Tage:
Morgens, mittags und abends 2 Kautabletten je 5 kg Körpergewicht (KGW).
Danach auf die Erhaltungsdosis reduzieren:
Morgens, mittags und abends 1 Kautablette je 5 kg Körpergewicht (KGW).
Die Kautabletten direkt ins Maul oder mit dem Futter zusammen verabreichen.
Fütterungsdauer: mindestens 6 Wochen. Es wird empfohlen, vor der Verwendung oder vor Verlängerung der Fütterungsdauer den Rat eines Tierarztes einzuholen. Wasser zur freien Aufnahme anbieten.

Liebes Ipet Team,
Ich habe einen 11 Monate jungen Kater, der wiederkehrend Giardien hat. Mit Panacur und strikter Hygiene kommt es immer wieder gut. Der Tierarzt meinte man müsse dringend bei ihm das Immunsystem stärken, der Arzt selber hat hierfür eine Spritze, welche ich im Moment ablehne. Ich will nicht eine so jungen Kater mit Chemie behandeln. Wäre das Immufer Plus hier eine gute Alternative ? Könnte ich ihn damit behandeln ? Liebe Grüsse
Your iPet team Guten Tag, wenn Ihre Katze tatsächlich ein geschwächtes Immunsystem oder eine zugrunde liegende chronisch-entzündliche Darmerkrankung (oft sekundär zur Giardieninfektionen) hat, wird sie sich immer wieder neu infizieren. Dieses Nahrungsergänzungsmittel hilft, das Immunsystem zu stärken. Es ist daher durchaus angezeigt. Was Ihre Katze und die Behandlung von Giardien betrifft, so muss manchmal auch Metronidazol – oder sogar Kortison – sowie eine hypoallergene Diät hinzugefügt werden, um die Giardien und die chronische Infektion, die sie verursachen können, loszuwerden. Besprechen Sie dies mit Ihrem behandelnden Tierarzt.
