Swing Microchip Large from Ferplast is an electronic door that is suitable for cats, reliable, practical to use and easy to program. The door has an innovative electronic system that only lets your pet through and prevents unwanted guests from entering. Swing Microchip Large has a special sensor that recognizes and decodes your cat's microchip under the skin , allowing the cat flap to be unlocked and opened. If your pet does not have an implanted microchip, you can use the Collar with Tag that you will find in the packaging. The tag replaces the otherwise implanted microchip.

Swing Microchip Large can store up to 30 different 15-digit microchip codes (ISO11784) and is complete with a wind stopper system to protect against draughts. The cat flap has a useful anti-shock mechanism that allows the door to close without slamming shut.

The special lock with the 4-way control allows you to decide whether you want to let your pet in and out freely, only let it in or out, or block the door completely. If required, you can also deactivate the pet's detection system and operate the door in the conventional manual mode. Programming the microchip code is quick and easy: simply bring your animal friend close to you and press the corresponding button on the control panel. Attention: The microchip is only controlled at the entrance, not at the exit,

The product requires 4 1.5V LR 14 batteries, which are not included, and has a useful indicator when the batteries need to be changed. Should the batteries run out completely, don't worry, the microchips are held in memory and it is therefore not necessary to repeat the programming.

As far as maintenance of the Swing Microchip is concerned, all you need to do is regularly clean the plastic door and the infrared sensors located inside the tunnel to the left and right of the door itself with a soft, dry cloth.

Swing Microchip Large, made of robust plastic, can be installed in various structures and materials: Wood, glass or masonry walls.

Attention: When installing on glass, it is advisable to consult a glazier before proceeding, as it is not possible to simply drill holes in toughened safety glass or double glazing yourself, unless they have already been made during manufacture.

For installations on metal doors, it is necessary to insulate the swing door with a non-metallic material around the entire perimeter: This avoids interference and guarantees the correct functioning of the electronic mechanism. The door tunnel cannot be machined as it contains very important components that must not be damaged.
