Suggested recipe with meaty bones (for adult dogs, daily amounts in grams):

Energy requirements may vary from person to person.

Meat can be fed raw, roasted or cooked, although there is a risk of infection with raw meat. Stomachs such as rumen or leaf stomach can be fed twice a week instead of meat. As stomachs are very low in potassium and rich in connective tissue, they should not be given more frequently.

Vegetables should be fed in the specified quantities to ensure a sufficient supply of potassium. They can be fed raw (finely grated/pureed) or cooked. Fruit is also possible.

A mixture of 70-80% linoleic acid-rich oil (e.g. sunflower oil, safflower oil, hemp oil) in combination with 20-30% omega-3 fatty acid-rich oil (e.g. fish oil, algae oil) has proven to be a good source of essential fatty acids. Alternatively, our Optinature Fellglanz BARF oil can be used.

Vitamin A and D have not been added to the Vitamin Optimix Nature mineral powder. It is therefore necessary to add cod liver oil. The cod liver oil used should contain approx. 1100 I.U. vitamin A and approx. 130 I.U. vitamin D per gram.

To begin with, add the mineral powder to the feed in small portions over 4-5 days.
Please do not heat, but mix into the cooled feed ration. Always add the mineral powder fresh to the ration. 1 measuring spoon (level) corresponds to approx. 2.5 g.
