- Since the nutritional components in a food allergy diet are limited—i.e., one carbohydrate source (e.g., potato) and one protein source (e.g., horse)—care must be taken to ensure the dog receives all necessary nutrients. Vitamin Optimix Sensitive provides support tailored to the dog’s needs.

Vitamin Optimix food supplements are optimally tailored to the respective nutritional needs. Vitamin Optimix Sensitive is easy to dose and, thanks to its high concentration, economical to use. It also has excellent palatability.
Recommended serving sizes for adult dogs with food allergies, daily amounts in grams:

Energy requirements may vary depending on your pet’s age, breed, and activity level. Feeding amounts may therefore differ from the recommendation.
Possible meat options include horse, venison, Ostrich, or kangaroo. Please choose one type. Sauté the meat or cook it in water. You are also welcome to use pure meat cans; iPet has a wide selection available for you.
Boil the potatoes or sweet potatoes until very soft. If you prefer to use flakes instead of fresh tubers, that’s no problem. 100 g of fresh potatoes and sweet potatoes correspond to 25 g of flakes. You can find potato and sweet potato flakes in our shop.
To ensure an adequate supply of essential fatty acids, various types of oil (e.g., safflower oil, canola oil, walnut oil, flaxseed oil, salmon oil) are recommended after 6–8 weeks. One teaspoon of oil is equivalent to approx. 4 g. Test the different types to see how well they are tolerated. For every teaspoon of oil, reduce the amount of potatoes or sweet potatoes by 50 g to avoid overfeeding.
Over time, vegetables, fruit, or fiber supplements such as cellulose can be added as a source of dietary fiber.
Initially, add the mineral supplement to the food in small portions over 4–5 days. Please do not heat it; simply mix it into the cooled food portion.

If your dog is doing well, you can also try out other food components—but please only one new food item per week!

Vitamin Optimix Cani Sensitive does not contain potassium.
This product was specially developed for a homemade horse-potato diet (elimination diet) and does not contain potassium because both horse meat and potatoes/sweet potatoes contain sufficient potassium.

Ist futtermedicus Vitamin Optimix sensitiv das richtige Ergänzungsmittel?
Unser Westie wird neu mit Ziege pur von Hermanns gefüttert. Dazu gibt es Kartoffeln, Karotten oder Kürbis mit etwas geriebenem Apfel! Wir hatten immer Probleme mit Magen und Darm. Magengrummeln, erbrechen, Schleim im Kot und sehr schlechte Konsistenz, bis Durchfall.
Viele Allergien und Unverträglichkeiten, wurden getestet.

Meine Frage: Mein Hund hat eine Futtermittelunverträglichkeit. Ich füttere ihn mit Sanoro Nassfutter und Sanoro Kängeruh, wäre das gut wenn ich Vitem Optimix Sensitive dazu mische.

Bonjour, j'ai donnée à mes chihuahuas femelle 2,5kg mâle 3,700kg deux mesurettes chacun car j'ai vu sur l'emballage 2.0 à quoi cela correspond ? Une mesurette = 1gr ? Je dois donner combien de mesurettes à mes chiens par jour. Si j'ai dépassé la dose c'est grave ? Merci de votre aide
Your iPet team Bonjour, la quantité indiquée est en gramme. Et une mesurette rase correspond à 3 g. Il faut donc donner 2/3 d'une mesurette aux chiennes et 1 mesurette rase au mâle. Bonjour est ce que l ajout de poudre os est autorisé et/ou nécessaire si l on ajoute futtermedicus sensitive a du barf seché (viande et abats bœuf) avec légumes et mélange de riz (patates riz) ?
La presence de fruits et légumes séchés dans la ration implique t elle une réduction de la dose de futtermedicus ?
Your iPet team Bonjour, si vous utilisez du Futtermedicus Sensitive selon les recommandations du fabricant, il n'est généralement pas nécessaire d'ajouter de poudre d'os, car le complément est conçu pour couvrir les besoins en vitamines, minéraux et oligoéléments d'une ration ménagère. En ajouter risquerait de déséquilibrer les apports, notamment en calcium et en phosphore.
La présence de fruits, légumes ou riz dans la ration ne nécessite pas de réduire la dose de Futtermedicus Sensitive. En revanche, il est important de respecter les proportions de viande recommandées par le fabricant pour calculer correctement la quantité de complément.
