Guten Tag Unser 2-jähriger Rüde (5kg Yorkshire-Mischling) riecht manchmal metallisch aus dem Maul. Und machmal erbricht er Galle (v.a. morgens vor dem Frühstück). Er ist ein Tierschutzhund und draußen sehr gestresst. Wäre dieses Futter geeignet ? Kann dieses Futter dauerhaft gefüttert werden? Oder nur auf eine gewisse Zeit befristet? Wäre das Mini Stress von Hills auch geeignet ? Könnte man diese beiden Futter aufgrund des erhöhten Kalium-/Natriumgehalts bedenkenlos geben?

Guten Tag, wir füttern seit einigen Wochen sehr erfolgreich das Biome Trockenfutter. Der Kot hat sich super reguliert darunter, und auch eine Futtermittelunverträglichkeit konnte so aufgedeckt und abgefangen werden. Nach wie vor hat er aber eine sehr hohe Säurebildung. Macht es Sinn, zum Trockenfutter dieses Nassfutter zu ergänzen, um der Säurebildung entgegenzuwirken? Freundliche Grüsse
Your iPet team Guten Tag, es freut mich zu hören, dass Ihr Hund das Biome Trockenfutter so gut verträgt. Das Ergänzen von Nassfutter wird die Magensäurebildung jedoch nicht direkt verringern.
Wenn Ihr Hund regelmässig erbricht oder unter einer starken Säurebildung leidet, empfehle ich, dies tierärztlich weiter abklären zu lassen. Liegt eine Gastritis vor, ist es oft sinnvoller, mehrere kleine Mahlzeiten über den Tag verteilt zu füttern statt 1–2 grosse. So bleibt das Futter nicht lange im Magen, was die Magenschleimhaut weniger reizt. Zusätzlich kann ein Produkt wie Ulprecar hilfreich sein, um die Magenschleimhaut zu unterstützen.
