The daily amounts given are only a recommendation and serve as a starting point. Adjust the amount of food accordingly to maintain the optimum body weight.
The animal should be gradually introduced to the new food over a period of 7 days. In the case of acute diarrhea, the new food should be fed immediately with small, frequent meals (three to six times a day) without changing the food.
Recommended duration of use: 1 to 2 weeks during and after acute diarrhea. Compensation for inadequate digestion: 3 - 12 weeks or longer, depending on requirements.

Guten Tag, für einen 6 Monate alten Welpen empfehlen wir das Futter Hill's Prescription Diet Canine i/d Digestive Care oder das Futter Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Gastrointestinal Puppy, das auch speziell für Welpen geeignet ist und eine ähnliche Wirkung hat.

Können sie mir sagen, was der Unterschied zwischen Hill's PRESCRIPTION DIET Gastrointestinal Biome Mini und diesem Produkt Hill's PRESCRIPTION DIET Gastrointestinal Biome ist? Ich habe alles verglichen, beim Mini Produkt sehe ich in Zusammensetzung nur, dass Psyllium im Mini drin ist und im anderen nicht? Oder was gibt es sonst noch für Unterschiede?
Guten Tag, der Hauptunterschied ist die Größe der Trockenfutterkörner. Manche kleinen Hunde mögen lieber kleinere Trockenfutterkörner. Die Zusammensetzung ist sehr ähnlich.

Bonjour
Mon chien avait des problèmes de digestion (diarrhée) depuis 1 année. Avec ces croquettes en 1,semaine tout est revenu normal. Actuellement je lui donne 2 boîtes de viande avec 240 gr par jour de ces nouvelles croquettes. Je peux continuer cette alimentation tout le temps ou ces croquettes sont limitées pour une certaine période ??

Ces croquettes peuvent-elles être données à vie ou seulement après des problèmes de digestion ?
Mon bichon havanais a 9 mois.
Cet aliment diététique est conçu pour les chiens souffrant de troubles digestifs, mais peut être donné à vie en cas de problèmes chroniques. Cependant, comme votre chien n'a pas encore terminé sa croissance à 9 mois, il ne doit continuer à lui être donné que sur avis vétérinaire explicite. Sinon, je vous recommande, jusqu'à l'âge de 10 à 12 mois, le Hill's Science Plan Puppy Small & Mini Breed, puis le Hill's Science Plan Perfect Digestion Small & Mini Breed, qui soutiennent également tous deux une digestion saine grâce à l'Active Biome

Mon chien a eu deux épisodes de giardiose de décembre 2025 a mai 2026. Actuellement selles molles et irrégulières, après une période où cela a mieux été. Depuis 2 jours transition de ses croquettes à HILL’S biome. Combien de temps avant une amélioration et des selles normales?
Bonjour, Hill’s Gastrointestinal Biome est spécialement formulé pour soutenir le microbiote intestinal et améliorer la qualité des selles. Une amélioration peut généralement être observée en quelques jours, mais après des épisodes répétés de giardiose, le microbiote et la muqueuse intestinale peuvent rester perturbés plus longtemps. Il est donc raisonnable de laisser 1 à 2 semaines, une fois la transition terminée, pour évaluer correctement la réponse à l’aliment.
Si les selles restent molles ou irrégulières malgré cette alimentation, je vous conseille d’en discuter avec votre vétérinaire. Il pourra notamment vérifier qu’il n’y a pas de récidive de giardiose ou une autre cause digestive. Dans un second temps, il pourrait être pertinent d’essayer une alimentation vétérinaire hypoallergénique/hydrolysée, en accord avec votre vétérinaire traitant, afin d’explorer une éventuelle composante alimentaire.
