Hill's PRESCRIPTION DIET Feline Gastrointestinal Biome Chicken Stew - Can for cats with chicken and added vegetables is a complete dietary food to alleviate acute intestinal absorption disorders and to compensate for inadequate digestion in adult cats. This dietary food has a high electrolyte content, a low fat content and contains easily digestible feed ingredients.
The breakthrough ActivBiome+ technology, a unique blend of active fibers, has been clinically proven to nourish the gut microbiome to support healthy digestion and well-being.

What is the microbiome?
The individual community of billions of different microorganisms, with a dynamic interaction between "good" and "bad" bacteria. The microbiome balance influences the transition from health to acute or chronic gastrointestinal diseases.
The daily amounts given are only a recommendation and serve as a starting point. Adjust the amount of food accordingly to maintain the optimum body weight.
The animal should be gradually introduced to the new food over a period of 7 days. In the case of acute diarrhea, the new food should be fed immediately with small, frequent meals (three to six times a day) without changing the food.
Recommended duration of use: 1 to 2 weeks during and after acute diarrhea. Compensation for inadequate digestion: 3 - 12 weeks or longer, depending on requirements.
