Hill's Prescription Diet Feline r/d Weight Loss - Diet food for cats and cats
Being overweight is a problem for half of all pets: they move less and are more susceptible to illness. By feeding Hill's Feline r/d Weight Loss consistently, you can significantly reduce your cat's and tomcat's weight in just eight weeks.
Assess and reduce weight correctly
Estimating your cat's weight correctly is not that easy. Our guide article will help you. It is not always easy to tell the nutritional status of a cat from the eye, as its silhouette changes with age, hormone production (neutered male cats and sterilized cats) and depending on the length of its hair. Some breeds are more prone to obesity than others: British Shorthairs, for example, are known to be good food converters.
Fat male cats slim and trim thanks to Feline r/d Weight Loss
Neutered male cats are particularly likely to become overweight if their diet is not adjusted quickly after neutering. Combine the diet with other measures to combat obesity so that your cat's zest for life remains intact! After successful weight loss, you can feed your cat with a food specifically formulated for neutered cats.
Weight loss diet for your cat: precautions
Your cat will also benefit from a diet for its enjoyment of life and exercise! For cats that have not been sterilized, however, it is better to have your vet check again to see if they are pregnant. Lactating cats and growing kittens can also make good use of their flab.
Determine the amount of food based on the ideal weight, not the current weight.
The daily amounts given are only a starting point. The amount of food should be adjusted accordingly to maintain optimum body weight.
The animal should be gradually introduced to the new diet over a period of 7 days or more.

Customer Questions
12.01.2026
