- High omega-3 fatty acid content helps support kidney health

IMPORTANT: Since iodine intake from other food sources such as snacks, other pet foods, flavored medications, etc. can interfere with the effectiveness of a low iodine diet, it is very important that you feed your pet only Prescription Diet y/d.
The daily amounts given are only a starting point. The amount of food should be adjusted accordingly to maintain optimum body weight.
The pet should be gradually introduced to the new food over a period of 7 days or more.
