Life Data Broodmare and Growing Horse Pelleted Feed Concentrate is a source of daily nutrients for all broodmares and growing horses.
The calorie requirements of broodmares and growing horses are very different and must be considered separately from other nutritional requirements. When compound feeds are used, the nutrients that are added to the feed are "forced" on the horse in indiscriminate amounts to meet the caloric requirements for fetal growth, lactation or weight gain.
This results in overfeeding horses that need a high calorie intake and underfeeding mares that tend to eat less.

Life Data allows the horse owner to separate the calorie requirements for pregnancy, lactation or growth from other nutritional requirements. Correct feeding during pregnancy and growth leads to a healthier horse!

The formulation and nutritional content of Life Data Broodmare and Growing Horse is based on research from the Life Data Labs Research Facility and also references the nationally recognized NRC Nutrient Requirements of Horses. Each 5 kg bag is a thirty-day supply for an adult broodmare of 450 kg or a growing horse with an expected weight of 450 kg.
