Paws & Patch cellulose powder
The pure cellulose powder from Paws & Patch is obtained from plant cell walls. Cellulose is a natural dietary fiber. Cellulose powder is a tasteless substitute for dietary fiber, e.g. in cases of poor acceptance or intolerance of vegetables or fruit. Paws & Patch cellulose powder is 100% natural, free from artificial additives and fillers. It is tasteless and odorless and therefore has a high odor and taste acceptance in dogs and cats. The cellulose powder is finely ground and can be easily dosed.
Natural dietary fibers
Cellulose is natural dietary fiber from plant cell walls. Dietary fiber is in turn a type of fiber. Dogs and cats absorb fiber with their food. By adding cellulose, the amount of dietary fiber in the food can be increased. Dietary fibers such as cellulose are indigestible and insoluble in water. However, cellulose can bind many times more water.
Dietary fiber stimulates the natural movement of the intestines and thus supports the maintenance of normal gastrointestinal activity. Cellulose reduces the digestibility of carbohydrates and can thus contribute to maintaining a normal weight. Supports changing stool consistency or excessively soft stools.

Allow the cellulose powder to swell with sufficient water. Then mix into the feed. When feeding for the first time, the animal should be slowly accustomed to the cellulose. Start with 10% of the daily dose and slowly increase the amount over a week. Provide additional fresh drinking water. One level teaspoon (tsp) corresponds to approximately 1.5 g. Divide the total amount into daily portions.
FEEDING RECOMMENDATION PER ANIMAL PER DAY
0.5 g - 1.0 g cellulose powder per kg body weight. An exact table according to body weight can be found on each pack.
The general feeding recommendations serve as guidelines. These may vary slightly depending on the age, breed, feeding or activity of the animal.

Darf man dieses Zelluloseprodukt auch bei Bauchspeicheldrüsenproblemen geben?

Das Pulver kann auch bei Bauchspeicheldrüsenproblemen gegeben werden. Allerdings sollte es vorsichtig dosiert werden, da es die Verdaulichkeit des Futters verringert. Es sollte langsam eingeführt werden (mit 10% der Tagesdosis beginnen und die Menge über eine Woche langsam erhöhen) und die Tagesmenge sollte nicht über 0.5g pro kg Körpergewicht erhöht werden.
