This ultra-modern Pet Porte SmartFlap cat flap from PetSafe made of UV-resistant plastic with chip reader only allows your own cat to pass through. A dangerous Collar is no longer necessary and other animals are denied access.
An integrated transponder reader reads your cat's chip number. As the reader is located in the canopy of the cat flap, your cat is detected before it actually reaches the flap and can therefore enter the house more quickly. It is possible to program the transponder numbers of up to 25 cats. A built-in light sensor, which can also be set to different levels of twilight, prevents the cat from leaving the house again after dark.

The animal chip is a small glass tube about the size of a grain of rice containing a microchip with a unique identification number. This number is stored with Tasso or the German Pet Register together with the name of the animal and your address. Using a suitable reader, the vet can then identify the owner of a lost cat, for example. With the PetPorte Smart Flap, this number is used as access control for your cat, cats or other pets that fit through a flap in the wall or door. Small dogs can also use this sole access option, as all animals that do not have a chip or whose number does not correspond to the programming of the small animal flap must remain outside.

The flap works with a plug-in power supply which provides a safe voltage. This ensures continuous operation. The power consumption is very low and is approx. 3-4 watts. An additional battery (UPS) guarantees an uninterrupted power supply, e.g. in the event of a power failure. Thanks to the power from the power supply unit, the PortPorte SmartFlap also achieves a much greater range during chip detection.

The tunnel extension extends the inner cover, which is included in the scope of delivery, by a further 4 cm. The tunnel extensions allow you to reach any tunnel length.
