Powervet Anti-Tick is a nutritional supplement that has been tried and tested for many years as a natural defense against ticks and other parasites such as fleas and mites.

Powervet Anti-Tick Tick Drops for dogs and cats are prepared using a special biological process, contain vitamin B1 and have no side effects. This makes them particularly suitable for sensitive animals as an alternative to conventional tick repellents. The product acts like a natural protective shield that wraps around the animal's skin and coat and thus safely repels ticks and other parasites. Vitamin B 1 is also characterized by additional health-promoting properties. The product causes the skin environment and the smell of the coatto be metabolically repelled by ticks and parasites, whereby the smell is not perceptible to the animal or humans.

Rockrose (Cistus incanus) is a source of polyphenols, proanthocyanadins, bioflavonoids, catechins, gallic acid, rutin and other beneficial bioactive compounds. It is a fantastic natural insect repellent and an alternative to chemical repellents such as DEET.

How Powervet Anti-Tick works:
Ticks, mites, fleas and other parasites are sensitive to odors and only seek out scent environments that are pleasant to them. Anti-Zeck creates an unacceptable odor for ticks and parasites, which is not perceptible to the animal or humans and is therefore not perceived as a nuisance, unlike many conventional sprays.

Anti-Tick is used for prevention and defense and is not suitable for acute flea or mite infestations!

Anti-Tick activates the natural tick defense from the 2nd day of administration. In rare exceptional cases, possibly in old animals with metabolic problems, the full spectrum of action may be achieved with a delay, possibly only after 1 to 2 weeks. With daily feeding, however, this remains permanent.

As a pleasant side effect, Anti-Tick ensures a very beautiful coat and healthy skin.

Ticks can carry diseases such as Lyme disease, babesiosis and the viral disease TBE, which is why protection is very important for your pet. TBE and Lyme disease are common in Switzerland. Lyme disease is caused by a bacterium and is often not recognized at first. The symptoms can be non-specific, such as impaired general condition, fever or joint pain. TBE is a viral disease and leads to meningitis.

The tick population is highest in the months of March to June and in September and October. Ticks live mainly in the undergrowth on forest edges and in tall grass. In Switzerland, the wood tick (Ixodes ricinus) is the most common native tick species. Some other tick species such as the brown dog tick (Rhipicephalus sanguineus) have also been introduced as a result of dog tourism. Development takes place via eggs - larva - nymph to adult tick and can take several months to years, depending on whether suitable hosts are available. Hosts can be mammals such as dogs and cats, but also humans. Each developmental stage must suck blood to develop.
