Powervet ginger tablets 500 mg each

Powervet ginger tablets help to reduce or even prevent symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, vomiting, restlessness and extreme salivation in dogs and cats that are very stressed from traveling in cars and other means of transport. The tablets contain purely natural ingredients.

The aforementioned symptoms in the body occur when the body cannot process movement stimuli correctly, which can happen when the animal looks outside during the journey or generally realizes through other senses that it is moving, but the nerve receptors in the muscles tell the animal's brain that it is sitting/lying still. The brain is unable to link the various pieces of information together and concludes that there is a dangerous situation and stress hormones are released, triggering symptoms. Ginger can help with precisely these symptoms! It is not yet 100% clear exactly how, but it is assumed that the essential oils in ginger interact with various body receptors and thus alleviate dizziness and nausea, for example.

There are no fixed dosage recommendations for this product. The following quantities are guide values; the optimum dose for your pet may be lower or slightly higher:

Small dogs and cats: 1 tbl/day

Medium dogs: up to 2 tbl/day

Large dogs: up to 3 tablets/day

The tablets are easy to divide and allow you to approach the effective dose for your pet in smaller steps. As the tablets are naturally relatively spicy due to the ginger, it is recommended that they are administered together with a treat, which should ideally be swallowed straight away. This is not normally a problem with dogs, but may be a little more difficult to administer to cats(Pill Assist Cat from Royal Canin or Easypill Cat from vetinnov may be helpful here).

Gebe ich diese Tabletten 2-3 Stunden vor der Autofahrt einmalig oder muss man eine Kur über einen längeren Zeitraum machen?

Die Ingwertabletten gibt man rund eine Stunde, bevor die Autofahrt losgeht. Die Wirkung hält rund 3 - 4 Stunden an, daher ist eine Kur eher nicht sinnvoll.

A quel moment dois-je lui donner ? Est ce 2cp en 1x avant le départ ? Mon chiot est un Golden et elle a 4 mois.

Nous recommandons pour votre chiot de commencer par un comprimé, et si cela n'est pas assez efficace, d'augmenter à 1,5 comprimé. Il faut l'administrer environ 1 heure avant le voyage en voiture, l'effet dure alors environ 3-4 heures.

Il est important d'effectuer un entraînement continu à la désensibilisation, en cas de problèmes lors des trajets en voiture, cela pourrait ressembler à ceci :

  • d'abord, aller dans la voiture et offrir une friandise comme récompense
  • puis monter dans la voiture avec le chien, donner la récompense et démarrer le moteur
  • ne faire de très courts trajets que si le chien reste calme dans cette situation

Quel conseil pourriez-vous donner pour faire avaler les comprimés à mon chien. Avec du Parfait, il les a avalés, mais pas digérés. Je pense que c'était trop lourd pour un voyage en voiture. Mon chien est de taille moyenne, je lui ai donné 2 comprimés. J'ai essayé 3 fois.

Les comprimés peuvent être divisés en petits morceaux et cachés dans des friandises. Pour qu'il ait le temps d'agir, le comprimé doit être administré environ une heure avant le trajet en voiture.
