Protexin CystoPro

Protexin CystoPro supports the urinary tract health of dogs and cats.

  • Cranberry extract prevents the adhesion of bacteria to the mucous membrane so that bacteria are simply excreted with the next urination.
  • Probiotics (Enterococcus faecium) reduce the number of bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract and thus lower the risk of urinary tract infections caused by ascending intestinal bacteria.
  • N-acetyl-D-glucosamine strengthens the glycosaminoglycan layer of the urinary bladder. This improves protection against infection.
  • Mannan oligosaccharides strengthen the immune system and the chicken flavor ensures excellent palatability.

Dogs < 20 kg / cats: 1 capsule / day
Dogs 20 - 40 kg: 2 capsules / day
Dogs 40 - 60 kg: 3 capsules / day

You can administer the whole capsule or open the capsule and litter the powder over the food. The time frame for administration depends on the severity and duration of the disease, but at least 2 - 4 weeks beyond the antibiotic administration. The capsules should be administered according to the vet's instructions.

Ja, die Kombination beider Ergänzungsfuttermittel ist unbedenklich. CystoPro unterstützt die Gesundheit der Harnwege, während Cobalaplex gezielt den Vitamin-B12- und Folsäurespiegel fördert. Wie lange dauert es, bis eine gereizte Blasenschicht gebildet ist und nicht mehr ab und zu Urin ein bisschen rot verfärbt ist?

Bei wiederholt rotem Urin ist eine tierärztliche Konsultation jedoch zwingend erforderlich, um schwerwiegende Ursachen wie Harnsteine oder Infektionen sicher auszuschliessen.
