Darf ich das meinen 16-jährigen Katzen als Alleinfutter für immer geben?
Your iPet team Beim CN Convalescence handelt es sich um ein energiereiches Alleinfutter, das sämtliche Nährstoffe, Vitamine und Mineralien enthält, die eine Katze braucht. Falls die Katze wenig Appetit hat und dadurch zu Untergewicht neigt, kann sie dieses Futter daher über eine lange Zeit hinweg erhalten. Zuerst muss jedoch tierärztlich abgeklärt werden, warum die Katze wenig Appetit hat oder warum sie Mühe hat, ihr Gewicht zu halten, da es dafür gesundheitliche Gründe geben kann, die mit einem anderen Tierarztfutter besser unterstützt werden können. Wir bitten Sie dementsprechend, mit Ihrem Tierarzt Rücksprache zu halten.

Meine Hündin ist zu dünn und eine sehr wählerische Esserin, sie hat auch eine Futtermittelallergie auf Gefieder (tierärztliche abgeklärt mit Ausschlussdiät) Sie frisst jetzt das Hypoallergenic von Royal Canin Nass und Trockenfutter und verträgt es sehr gut, sie hat es aber nicht so gern und frisst daher nicht immer alles. Deshalb ist der Versuch mit Menge erhöhen damit sie zunimmt fehlgeschlagen. Kann ich ihr dieses Futter als Zusatz geben bis sie wieder zugenommen hat?
Your iPet team Guten Tag, in diesem Fall würde ich von der zusätzlichen Fütterung der CAT/DOG CN Convalescence Mousse eher abraten, da es sich nicht um ein hypoallergenes Futter handelt. Dadurch könnten erneut allergische Symptome ausgelöst und der Erfolg der Ausschlussdiät beeinträchtigt werden.
Eine mögliche Alternative wäre, die bestehende hypoallergene Nahrung mit einer Menge Schweineschmalz oder Rinderfettpulver schmackhafter und energiereicher zu machen. Reines Fett enthält grundsätzlich keine allergieauslösenden Proteine. Da Ihre Hündin jedoch eine tierärztlich abgeklärte Futtermittelallergie hat, empfehle ich, dies vorher mit Ihrem behandelnden Tierarzt abzusprechen.

Convalescence Mousse
Meine Katze mag es sehr. Nur ist die Dosenmenge zu gross, gut die Hälfte würde auch genügen. Meine Katze frisst nicht mehr so viel, und ein angefangenes Futter am Folgetag mag sie nicht. So muss ich immer so viel wegwerfen, was sehr schade ist für dieses gute Futter. Ich gebe es deshalb meiner Katze nicht mehr jeden Tag.

Nach Schädelbruch und 7 Tage intensive care wurde uns dieses Produkt von der Tierklinik empfohlen.
Unser kleiner Hund war immer ein schwieriger Esser. Purina Veterinary hat er aber sehr gerne und isst es mit Genuss. Er hat sogar wieder zugenommen !!!
