RECOACTIV® Renaltan Tonic for cats
In cats with chronic renal insufficiency (CNI), it is important to reduce the phosphorus content in the diet. RECOACTIV® Renaltan reduces the absorption of phosphate from the diet, as calcium carbonate binds phosphate contained in the food to form insoluble complexes that cannot be absorbed in the intestine.
RECOACTIV® Renaltan is available in liquid form and can therefore be optimally absorbed. It reduces the phosphorus in food that is harmful to the kidneys and also stimulates the appetite.
RECOACTIV® Renaltan also provides animals with kidney disease with the necessary fluids and essential vitamins (A, B, D, E) and trace elements (zinc, manganese, iron). It stimulates the appetite, which encourages the often poorly eating animals to eat.

Special recipe

10 ml in a measuring cup/day (approx. 220 mg calcium carbonate)
If feeding twice a day, administer 5 ml per meal.
Once opened, store in the refrigerator and consume within 12 days.
Shake bottle well before use.
Provide water for free intake.
Duration of use: Renaltan can be administered continuously if required.

Meine Katze ist 17 Jahre alt. Sie hat chronische Pankreatitis und IBD. Für die chronische Pankreatitis gebe ich ihr PankreaVital und für die IBD erhält sie 3 Prednisolontröpfli/Tag. Sie hat ebenfalls 3 kleine Blasensteine, die an der Blasenwand haften. Für die Blase erhält sie 2 Kapseln Calmurofel täglich.
Vor 2 Wochen hat ein Bluttest gezeigt, dass ein Nierenproblem vorhanden ist. Der Ultraschall vom 30.07.2026 zeigt, dass es sich warscheinlich um eine Nierenzyste handelt (durch Spezialistin zu präzisieren/bestätigen).
Dürfte ich meiner Katze in Notfällen Renaltan Tonicum geben? Ich hatte soweit immer "Recovery Immun" für Notfälle zu Hause, glaube jedoch, dass es sich mit einem Nierenproblem nicht eignen würde. Besten Dank für Ihre Antwort!

Es kann in Notfällen kurzzeitig zur Appetitanregung eingesetzt werden. Wegen der Kombination mit IBD und Pankreatitis sollte die Gabe bei Verschlechterung stets mit dem behandelnden Tierarzt abgesprochen werden.

Meine Katze mit 19.5 Jahre frisst und trinkt viel mehr, und ich bin sehr froh, dieses Produkt gefunden zu haben.
