ROYAL CANIN® Hepatic for your dog's liver function

ROYAL CANIN® Hepatic is a balanced and nutritious formula specially developed to support the natural function of the liver in dogs with chronic liver insufficiency.

Adapted protein content
This formula with adapted protein content from high quality sources promotes healthy liver function.

Reduced copper content
The low copper and high zinc content limit copper accumulation in liver cells and help prevent liver cell degeneration.

Protection through antioxidants
A synergistic combination of antioxidants (Vit. E, Vit. C, taurine, lutein) can protect the body's cells from attacks by aggressive metabolic products.

Electrolyte balance
Reduced sodium intake counteracts high blood pressure and extravascular fluid loss.

High energy content
The high energy density makes it possible to feed small portions and relieves the intestines.

Important note
This product is a veterinary food from the ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Health Nutrition range. It is therefore important that the food is only fed on the recommendation of a vet. This will ensure that your pet receives exactly the food it really needs. A change in diet should be made carefully and gradually over a period of 7-10 days. Pay attention to the correct portion size - especially with mixed feeding.

Mixed feeding possible
To meet the individual preferences of all dogs, ROYAL CANIN® Hepatic is also available as a dry food with crunchy kibble . Mixed feeding gives the food different consistencies, which can stimulate the appetite. Wet food has a more intense flavor and its moisture content helps to regulate the animal's water balance. Dry food, on the other hand, is easier to absorb and good for the teeth.

Wie viele Kohlenhydrate sind in einer 420gr Nassfutterdose Hepatic ich kann keine Angaben finden

Guten Tag, der Kohlenhydratanteil wird bei Tierfutter oft als NFE angegeben. NFE (Nitrogen Free Extract) bezeichnet die verdaulichen Kohlenhydrate (z. B. Stärke und Zucker) und wird rechnerisch ermittelt, nicht direkt gemessen. Beim Royal Canin Hepatic DOG Nassfutter liegt der NFE-Gehalt bei ca. 11 % der Frischmasse (berechnet aus den analytischen Bestandteilen). Das entspricht in einer 420-g-Dose etwa 45–47 g Kohlenhydraten (NFE).
