Trixie Natura rabbit hutch XL with 2 floors
This very large rabbit hutch has a sheltered retreat in the upper, rear section, which can be opened using a sliding door. The roof can be opened completely and one half of the roof has removable floor panels and can be used as storage space. A total of 7 doors ensure good handling and easy cleaning. The enclosure can be extended with further Natura free-range enclosures. It is made of varnished pine wood and powder-coated metal. The rodent pen has a lockable bottom hatch with plastic coating and the plastic trays can be pulled out. The double locking mechanism on the mesh door prevents predators from entering. Due to the small grid spacing (2 cm), this small animal hutch is also suitable for young animals.
For longevity, it is recommended that the wood is reglazed approx. every 3 years.

Ist dieser Stall sicher in Bezug auf Füchse?
Your iPet team Der Stall verfügt über keine spezielle Sicherung, damit Füchse und Marder nicht eindringen können. Das Gittertürchen wird mit dem üblichen Schieber verschlossen. Wenn die Tiere im Stall drin sind, kann das Holztürchen noch zusätzlich zugeschoben werden.

Ist dieser Stall für drei Kanninchen gross genug? Wenn es noch ein zusätzliches Aussengehege gibt.
Your iPet team Gemäss den Empfehlungen des Schweizer Tierschutzes sollte die erforderliche Fläche für drei Kaninchen mindestens etwa 6,5 m² betragen. Da die Grössenempfehlungen derzeit überarbeitet werden, ist dieser Wert lediglich als absolutes Minimum zu betrachten. Es wird ausdrücklich empfohlen, mehr Platz einzuplanen.
Der Trixie Natura Kaninchenstall XL bietet eine Gesamtfläche von ca. 1,55 m² und wäre daher für drei Kaninchen deutlich zu klein.
Es müsste zusätzlich ein Aussengehege von mindestens ca. 2.5 x 2 m vorhanden sein, besser grösser. Wichtig ist, dass dieses Gehege den Kaninchen dauerhaft frei zugänglich ist und nicht nur stundenweise genutzt wird.
Zudem muss das Aussengehege sehr gut vor Fressfeinden geschützt werden, damit sich die Kaninchen sicher darin aufhalten können.
