Cleaning:

If the Vital Flow/Vital Flow Mini is used by an animal, the water should be changed at least every two days. The filter and pump should be cleaned once a week (depending on the frequency of use). For cleaning, you can simply remove the pump using two suction cups and clean the plastic parts and the filter. the fountain itself is made of ceramic and is therefore dishwasher-safe. if the water is hard, it is recommended not to use tap water but non-carbonated mineral water. If you still use tap water, it is necessary to clean the pump more frequently to prevent limescale build-up. Otherwise, it will be necessary to treat the pump with a descaler from time to time.

Acclimatization:

To get very skittish animals used to the Vital Flow/Vital Flow Mini, place a few treats on the edge of the drinking fountain, for example. This way, your pet will associate the Vital Flow/Vital Flow Mini with a positive experience
