TRM Beta Carotene, Folic Acid & Vitamin E
Beta-carotene, folic acid & vitamin E occur freely in nature, especially when the grass is fresh. During winter breeding for thoroughbreds, the vitamin content falls well below the normal requirement. TRM has developed this unique product especially for breeders to help them optimally prepare their mares for winter breeding. Important research has underlined the positive effect of beta-carotene on the fertility of mares. When beta-carotene is fully ingested, it reaches the corpus luteum in the ovaries. The corpus luteum plays an important role in controlling the healthy estrus of the mare. Beta-carotene is an essential nutrient that the mare needs to produce the pregnancy hormone progesterone.
Benefits:
- ideal for broodmares in the winter season
- provides mares with beta-carotene, folic acid and vitamin E during the winter, which can be obtained from fresh grass during the rest of the year.
- Vitamin E is of fundamental importance for the fertility of mares
- Covers the increased folic acid requirement during pregnancy
- Beta-carotene has positive effects on fertility

However, it should be noted that national doping regulations may deviate from these international guidelines. In addition, the relevance of doping, especially of herbal ingredients, is subject to continuous change. For this reason, we recommend that you regularly inform yourself about the latest data in equestrian sport by consulting the FEI list of prohibited substances .
