Nutri-Cal Energy Gel is a high-calorie dietary supplement for dogs and cats that stimulates food intake and promotes weight gain in cachectic patients.

During the convalescence phase after debilitating illnesses and operations, Nutri-Cal covers the calorie requirement. Nutri-Cal compensates for the resulting nutrient deficiency in animals that consume insufficient amounts of food over a longer period of time.

Feeding recommendation:

Nutri-Cal is administered directly from the tube into the animal's mouth or mixed into the feed.

Nutri-Cal is very palatable. To familiarize fussy patients with the taste of the paste, it is advisable to squeeze a small strand of paste onto the animal's paw.

Dosage:

For additional calorie supply during convalescence: 3 teaspoons (or 1 tablespoon) per 10 kg body weight per day.

In case of incomplete intake of the normal daily feed ration: 3 teaspoons (or 1 tablespoon) per 5 kg body weight per day

Nutri-Cal is not suitable for continuous feeding on its own.

The feeding recommendation should not be exceeded.

It is recommended to seek the advice of a veterinarian before feeding.

C’est à peu près 3 mois que je donne nutri-cal gel à ma chihuahua qui a bientôt 17 ans, pour l’appétit. Pensez-vous que je peux continuer ou cela peut lui faire mal ?

L'utilisation de Nutri-Cal peut être poursuivie sans danger pour un chien de cet âge. Ce complément alimentaire est conçu pour être bien toléré sur une longue période. Veillez toutefois à maintenir un suivi vétérinaire régulier pour surveiller les fonctions organiques de votre chien âgé.

Kann ich Nutri cal auch meinem 20 1/2 jährigen Kater geben, der sonst Urinary s/o Futter braucht, aber nun anfängt, zu wenig zu fressen? … er macht sich wohl langsam auf den Weg.

Nutri-Cal ist eine hochkalorische Energiepaste, die bei Appetitlosigkeit kurzzeitig unterstützen kann, auch wenn die Katze sonst eine Urinary Diät erhält. Für alte Katzen, die oft an einer Niereninsuffizienz leiden, empfehlen wir auch das Recoactiv Recovery Renal.  Es wirkt appetitanregend und belastet den Stoffwechsel weniger als herkömmliche Energiepasten.
