Cystaid - To support the natural function of the bladder.
Cystaid contains:
- N-acetyl D-glucosamine helps to maintain and replace the protective layer lining the bladder mucosa
- L-theanine is an amino acid extracted from green tea with naturally calming properties, which supports the cat's well-being
- Quercetin is a secondary plant substance that supports the bladder wall.
Possible causes of bladder problems:
- Medication can have a negative effect on the bladder wall
- after bladder surgery (e.g. to remove bladder stones) it can be useful to support the bladder wall
- Bladder stones / urinary crystals often lead to bladder problems
- Bladder migration disorders can be triggered by stress
- Low water intake can lead to bladder problems
Signs of bladder problems are
- Frequent urination
- Pain when passing urine
- Blood in the urine
If you notice these signs in your cat, have him examined by a vet!
Cystaid is available as a capsule and can be used for short and long-term use.
The capsules can be opened and mixed with food or given whole.
Dosage (unless otherwise recommended by your veterinarian)
- Initial dose (3 - 4 weeks): 2 capsules per day (1 in the morning, 1 in the evening)
- Long-term treatment: 1 capsule per day
Not intended for human consumption.
