Vetramil® PAD wound dressing

Use for Vetramil® PAD wound dressings:

Vetramil Pad based on medical honey and essential oils for covering superficial wounds.

Mode of action of Vetramil® PAD wound dressings:

The effect is based on medicinal honey and essential oils. The medicinal honey in Vetramil® is characterized by a particularly high concentration of glucose oxidase (GOX).
Glucose oxidase continuously converts the honey sugar into hydrogen peroxide and gluconic acid, thus creating an acidic, germ-unfriendly environment.

Application instructions for Vetramil® PAD wound dressings:

1. Clean the wound as usual.
2. Open the packaging at the notch.
3. Remove the dressing and cover the wound with it.
4. Fix the dressing in the usual way, e.g. with self-adhesive, breathable adhesive tape or gauze.
5. After one to two days at the most, carefully remove the dressing and replace it with a new Vetramil®Pad dressing.
