OphtaPRIME is a sterile liquid for cleaning the eyes and preparing for eye treatment. The product is suitable for dogs, cats, horses and small pets. It helps to gently remove dirt, irritants and excess secretions and optimally prepares the eye for further treatments.

Thanks to its mild formulation, OphtaPRIME is particularly well tolerated and can also be used on sensitive animals. The application is uncomplicated and hygienic - ideal for regular eye care.

Application:
Apply the preparation 5 minutes before carrying out an eye treatment.
If there is no eye discharge, drip 1 to 2 drops into the affected eye.
If the eye is dirty (with eye discharge), pour a small amount of the preparation into the eye. Wipe away impurities and excess fluid with a clean gauze swab. Follow the advice of your veterinarian.

Storage:
OphtaPRIME should be stored in the original packaging at room temperature.

Composition:
Sodium edetate 0.1 %, polysorbate 80: 0.1 %, trisaminomethane 0.02 %. Without preservatives

Sodium edetate (EDTA) is a chelator of metals that can change the structure of cell membranes. It helps to maintain the physiological eye flora and limits biofilm formation. Trisaminomethane (TRIS) enhances the chelating effect of EDTA. Polysorbate 80 is a surfactant and emulsifier that can increase the membrane permeability of some bacteria and support the limitation of biofilm formation.
