Complete wet food. For adult cats with lower urinary tract disease (FLUTD).

Benefits and characteristics:
Low struvite RSS (Relative Super Saturation) < 1
The formulation induces the formation of urine that is undersaturated for struvite with a struvite RSS < 1 to promote the dissolution of existing struvite stones and prevent the formation of new struvite stones.
Optimization of the urine pH value
A urine pH value between 6.0 and 6.5 prevents the formation of struvite and oxalate crystals.
Promotion of fluid intake
The high water content promotes daily water intake.
Intense natural aroma and taste
The high proportion of animal proteins ensures high acceptance.

Bonjour,
Peut-on varier la nourriture contre les struvites si mon chat va mieux (donner un produit contre les struvites et alterner avec de la nourriture "normale" de qualité ? Car il n'y a pas de moyen de savoir si les struvites sont dues à la nourriture finalement, non ? De plus, ayant plusieurs chats, il est très difficile de régulariser la nourriture... Est-ce contre-indiqué que mes autres chats mangent des croquettes (ou aliment mou) contre les struvites ? Merci de votre réponse

il n’existe pas de réponse unique : tout dépend de votre chat et de son risque de récidive. Les struvites ne sont pas toujours directement liés à l’alimentation, mais celle-ci joue un rôle majeur dans la prévention. Alterner les nourritures n’a pas d’intérêt.
Vous pouvez soit :
- nourrir tous vos chats avec un aliment urinaire (sans problème pour des adultes en bonne santé),
- les nourrir séparément avec des écuelles Surefeed,
- ou choisir un aliment pour chats stérilisés, comme le Pro Plan Sterilised, qui contribue aussi – dans une moindre mesure – à réduire le risque en favorisant une urine métastable.
Gardez à l’esprit que le stress peut également être un facteur déclenchant, surtout en groupe. Je vous recommande donc d’en discuter avec votre vétérinaire traitant pour un suivi adapté.
