Wolfsblut Grey Peak Senior with Goat & Sweet Potato is a species-appropriate dry food designed for the healthy, grain-free diet of your senior dog.
The Grey Peak Senior formula is primarily based on the diet of ancestral dogs and therefore consists of a high proportion of goat and sweet potatoes, as well as stinging nettle, hawthorn, ginseng, and dandelion.
Generally speaking, the senior years for:
- small dogs starting at age 8 and
- large dogs between the ages of 6 and 7.
As a senior, your dog needs your care and attention more than ever:
In addition to monitoring their health, it’s important to provide your senior dog with a comfortable environment that offers easy access to food, water, and a place to sleep.
When taking them for walks, you should compensate for their declining vision and hearing by paying extra attention.
You should also extend your senior dog’s rest periods accordingly. Naturally,
more rest also means lower energy requirements—a factor you’ll need to take into account when choosing food.
The dog food must now be highly bioavailable and easily digestible; otherwise, it will quickly be converted into fat.

Weil das "Range Lamb Senior" nur in kleinen Packungen lieferbar war, bin ich auf dieses Produkt ausgewichen. Meine 7-jährige mittelgrosse Mischlingshündin Dora frisst es sehr gerne, sie verdaut es super und ist gesund. Die empfohlene Futtermenge empfinde ich als zu hoch, aber eventuell ist Dora als Abkömmling von vielen Generationen Strassenhunden auch eine extrem genügsame Verwerterin.
Jedenfalls kann ich dieses Produkt mit bestem Gewissen weiter empfehlen! -
