Zylkène - naturally against stress and anxiety in dogs, cats and horses

Zylkene helps your dog, cat or horse to adapt their behavior better and to remain relaxed and stress-free even in unfamiliar or unloved situations. A visit to the vet, a house move, a new housemate or sudden noises such as fireworks or thunderstorms can be better tolerated.

Use of Zyklène

Zylkene is palatable and easy to administer; once a day it can be given directly as a reward or mixed into the feed.

Duration of use of Zylkène

If the upcoming events are already known, Zylkène should be started a few days in advance.
For longer-term changes, such as an addition to the family or a new pet, Zylkène should be administered for at least 1 to 2 months.

How Zylkène works

Zylkène contains a milk-derived protein, alpha-casozepine. This milk protein is also produced in the intestines of newborn puppies and kittens when they digest their mother's milk and is thought to have a calming effect on suckling. As animals get older, the digestion of milk changes so that alpha-casozepine is no longer produced when adult dogs and cats drink milk. However, the calming effect of alpha-cazoszepine remains in adult animals.
