astorin® ViroLysin premium contains specific nutrients and active ingredients to compensate for temporarily or permanently increased requirements in order to promote and support the function of the body's own defense system.
Cats may have an increased requirement in phases of particular stress(stressful situations), in the event of increased resistance due to weather or husbandry, during convalescence, when the immune system is not fully developed or when the activity of the immune system decreases due to age.
High energy content, high concentration of important nutrients and easy digestibility of the raw materials. Contains beta-glucans, nucleotides and antioxidants.

Omega-3 fatty acids
The omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA from cold-water algae and salmon oil can strengthen the immune system and have a beneficial effect on inflammatory reactions.
Zinc
Zinc is of central importance for immune homeostasis and ensures cellular and humoral immune function. Only with sufficient availability of zinc is the entire immunological defense readiness including cellular immunity, antibody reaction, complement system and phagocytosis activity guaranteed.
A healthy organism with a resilient immune system does not provide an environment for viruses to multiply.
Licorice
Licorice root consists of dried roots and rhizomes of Glycyrrhiza glabra and also helps to strengthen the immune system. Preparations with high concentrations of licorice should not be given to pregnant animals for longer than six weeks without veterinary advice. A dose of 3.5 g of licorice root powder per cat per day must not be exceeded. The recommended daily amount for cats of 4 ml of astorin® ViroLysin immu paste contains less than 1 g of licorice.

Maximum daily amount per 5 kg body weight (mandatory): 4 ml; young cat 2 ml
Feeding duration: 2 - 4 weeks.
Veterinary advice should always be sought before use or before extending the feeding period.
