AniForte green-lipped mussel capsules for adult and older dogs
The non-fat AniForte® green-lipped mussel caps ules can support the joint function and agility of dogs in a natural way thanks to the gentle drying process and the resulting high content of ingredients.

Most green-lipped mussel powders are labeled as extracts, which sounds good, but is not beneficial in this case. In the case of extracts, the dried powder is defatted. However, the high fat content of green-lipped mussels in particular is a quality feature, as this ensures the supply of essential omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids.
Studies have shown that supplementation with green-lipped mussel tablets can positively support dogs in their gait function and significantly improve joint quality.
The green-lipped mussel powder contained in AniForte® green-lipped mussel capsules comes from a licensed marine farm in New Zealand. There, the mussels are processed as a whole by gentle freeze-drying - this ensures that the nutrients are almost completely preserved. In addition, the powder obtained is not extracted, so that the product has a fat content of 10.2 % - a high fat content is a quality feature of green-lipped mussel tablets. This product is also free from artificial additives, fillers and cereals.
Dogs per 10 kg: 1 capsule daily
To increase acceptance, the capsules can simply be given with a treat.

Kann ich die Kapseln Grünlippmuscheln (Hunde) für meine Katze (7kg) kaufen?
Your iPet team Aufgrund der Dosierung in der Kapsel sind diese nicht für Katzen geeignet. Als Alternative gibt es das Pulver, welches auch für Katzen passend ist. AniForte Grünlippenmuschel Pulver

Kann man die Grünlippmuschel Kapsel auch Welpen geben ?
Your iPet team Grundsätzlich gibt es keine Kontraindikationen, die Grünlippmuschel-Kapseln Welpen zu verabreichen. Für die gesunde Entwicklung eines Welpen ist dies jedoch nicht notwendig und bietet keine speziellen Vorteile.
Sollte der Welpe jedoch bereits Gelenkprobleme haben, empfehlen wir dringend, einen Tierarzt hinzuzuziehen, um die beste Vorgehensweise zu klären.

Meine Hündin wiegt ca. 5kg. Darf sie trotzdem eine Kapsel pro Tag nehmen? Weil da steht pro 10kg eine Kapsel.
Your iPet team Sie können trotzdem 1 Kapsel täglich verabreichen. Sollte Ihr Hund mit Durchfall oder Blähungen reagieren, können Sie die Kapsel öffnen und jeweils die Hälfte übers Futter geben, oder aber jeden zweiten Tag 1 ganze Kapsel verabreichen.
Als Alternative können Sie auf ein Grünlippmuschelpulver wechseln, das Pulver ist jeweils etwas einfacher zu dosieren.

Kann ich die Kapseln Grünlippenmuschel bei meinem Hund mit einer Futtermittelunverträglichkeit (IBD) auch verwenden?
Your iPet team Die Kapseln eignen sich für Hunde mit IBD, da sie ausser der Grünlippmuschel und der pflanzlichen Hülle keine weiteren Zutaten enthalten. Da es sich bei der Muschel jedoch um eine Proteinquelle handelt, die gelegentlich eine Allergie auslösen kann, ist die Verträglichkeit nicht garantiert. Bitte beobachten Sie daher in den ersten 10 - 12 Tagen die Reaktion des Hundes genau.
