The innovative high-performance adsorber Porus One for cats absorbs uremic toxin precursors in the cat's intestine and excretes them with the feces. In this way, the use of Porus One reduces harmful uremic toxins such as indoxyl sulfate in the long term, thereby supporting the kidney health of cats. Porus One is now available in over 10 European countries and the USA.
To facilitate the administration of Porus One, Add One, a delicious indulgence snack for cats, was also launched in 2018. Each Add One sachet contains a portion of creamy salmon sauce or liver sausage. In addition to its high palatability, Add One is designed to be excellent for administering Porus One, not only for cats fed dry food but also for those fed wet food and picky cats.
With Catney One, Dechra has expanded its product range to support cats with kidney disease. It is a phosphate power binder characterized by high selectivity and binding capacity for phosphorus in the gastrointestinal tract. It is the only phosphate binder authorized in the EU for use in cats with chronic kidney disease. Thanks to the granular formulation, it is very easy to mix Catney One with wet food or Add One. Due to the enormous phosphate binding capacity, the dosage of Catney One is simple: one stick per day in one meal or divided over several meals.
